Site Changes That Ship Themselves, and Undo Themselves
Webgentic watches your analytics, search console and repository, proposes a fix as a real diff, waits for your approval, then commits it through Git. If it is wrong, one click puts the code, database and assets back as they were. This page is the technical detail.

Built and run by EXPRE. Nothing is deployed without a human approving the diff first.

Five Stages, With a Gate Before Anything Ships
Every change follows the same path. Nothing reaches your live site without a person seeing the diff and approving it, and nothing is irreversible.
Observe
Webgentic reads live signals rather than waiting to be told: analytics, Search Console, crawl data and performance measurements from the site itself. It is looking for slow scripts, broken schema, conversion drops and accessibility failures.
Plan
It builds an action with context and reasoning attached, using what it learned about your brand, business model and platform architecture during onboarding. That assessment is stored as structured knowledge and consulted on every task, so the work aligns with your objectives rather than a generic template.
Review
Two-stage approval with the full diff in front of you. You see the original signal, the reasoning and the exact change proposed. Sensitive actions require approval regardless of who triggered them. Nothing proceeds on an assumption.
Deploy
A Git-backed commit into your own repository, through your existing workflow. Changes use your components and design tokens, so nothing drifts away from your design system. Execution is sandboxed with least-privilege, scoped API access.
Roll back
One click reverts code, database and assets together as a single unit, in seconds. Every observation, decision, approval and roll back is logged with timestamps and actors, and the log exports at any time.
Platform Capabilities
Natural Language Processing
The NLP layer uses a large language model as its reasoning engine. The model receives the user's instruction, relevant context about website structure, and a set of available actions. It reasons and produces a structured action plan in JSON format that the CMS adapter executes.
Design-System Aware
Changes are made with your own components and design tokens, so nothing drifts away from the house style. On WordPress the adapter understands Gutenberg blocks, attributes and nested structure; on the commerce platforms it works through the native theme and template layer.
Security and Access Controls
SOC 2 Type II certified, with zero data exfiltration. API keys are scoped and least-privilege: read-only on analytics, write only on approved Git operations, revocable at any time. Role-based permissions integrate with your existing identity provider through SSO.
One-Click Roll Back
Code, database and assets revert together as one unit, in seconds. Behind it sits an immutable log of every observation, instruction, operation, approval and revert, with timestamps and actors. Users cannot edit it; administrators can export it at any time.
Two-Stage Approval, With the Diff
You review the actual change, not a summary of it. The reviewer sees the signal that triggered it, the reasoning, and the full diff before anything is committed. Enable it per user, per section or site-wide; destructive operations route through it regardless of permissions.
Data Residency Options
Current production deployment processes instructions on EU-hosted infrastructure. UK-only data residency is available for clients with specific requirements. Self-hosted deployments available for enterprise clients with strict data control needs.
Platforms and Integrations
Supported today: WordPress, WooCommerce, Magento, Shopify and Drupal. The CMS adapter translates an abstract action plan into platform-specific API calls, so supporting a new platform means writing a new adapter rather than changing the core reasoning.
Connects to: GA4 and Google Search Console for the signals, HubSpot for CRM, and your repository through Git hooks. Authentication is OAuth 2.0; the APIs are REST and GraphQL, with WebSocket for real-time streams.
No connector? It builds one. The native integration builder uses your API layer to create, test and deploy a connector for a proprietary or legacy system, version-controlled and self-documenting.
Authentication and API Security
All CMS operations are authenticated using OAuth tokens with minimum required permissions. Webgentic does not store CMS credentials. The integration uses short-lived tokens that refresh automatically and can be revoked at any time through CMS user management.
The instruction processing layer includes safety checks that identify potentially destructive operations before execution. Instructions that would delete significant content or make broad structural changes route through the approval workflow regardless of user permissions.
Common Questions
Which platforms does it support?
WordPress, WooCommerce, Magento, Shopify and Drupal are all supported today. On WordPress it installs as a plugin that establishes the API connection; the commerce platforms connect through their own admin and storefront APIs. If you are on something proprietary, the native integration builder can generate a connector for it.
What AI model powers the instruction processing layer?
Webgentic uses a combination of models depending on instruction complexity. Routine content edits use a smaller, faster model. Complex multi-step instructions use a larger reasoning model. The selection is transparent to the user.
What happens when a change turns out to be wrong?
You roll it back in one click and it reverts in seconds, taking the code, the database and the assets together rather than leaving you to reconcile them. Before that point, safety checks flag destructive operations and route them through approval regardless of who has permission, and nothing reaches the live site without someone approving the diff.
How can I try Webgentic?
There is a limited pilot programme running now, with priority onboarding, a direct support channel and early access to Pathways multi-LLM orchestration. Over 200 teams are on the waitlist. You can watch the demo, book a 20-minute intro or schedule a full technical walkthrough at webgentic.ai, where the pricing is also published. EXPRE clients can have it deployed as part of a managed engagement instead.
What are the data residency options?
The current production deployment processes instructions on EU-hosted infrastructure. UK-only data residency is available for clients with specific requirements. Self-hosted deployments are available for enterprise clients with strict data control needs.
